Becuase you demanded it! Crosstawk Comics has been gone for all too long, and let's be honest, it was all my fault. But now Gus and I are back to talk about the best comics of 2011! With over 14 series brought up, if you're looking to get into great modern comics, this is the episode to listen to!

Gotta agree that Animal Man came out of effing NOWHERE to blow me out of the water. I was initially skeptical of the art style until I saw...the Rot creatures. So amazing, and it just got better and more messed up every issue.
But my favorite comic was IDW's surprise reboot of TMNT. Real quality stuff, too. Good art, good fanservice, good retelling of the Turtle's origin in the modern era.
This show always makes me want to read more comics, but I don't have time to add another nerdy (and expensive) hobby...
